Peek-A-Boo!

Someone is learning how to play Peek-a-boo! She hasn't QUITE figured out where her hands go just yet. She smacks herself in the head over and over... she thinks it's funny, so that's all that matters :)

 

Her hair is definitely growing! Working on the sideburns like Daddy, I guess.

 Alright, now on to something else...
She concentrates SO hard trying to put her blocks together.

 Okay bored with that... next thing! Crawl over to the exersaucer and play.

She doesn't want to be inside of it anymore, but still loves the toys.

Okay and now the highchair (now I know why I've lost so much weight lately!
Who needs a gym or Zumba Video when you have a 10 month old.

Next Up! Meal time :)

Mealtime is over (and yes she got fed!) Now look who thinks it's funny to turn around in the highchair. Nu uh! Not okay little one! She thought it was so funny here, until I turned her back around and we had a small meltdown.

Now it's time for a little tickle mommy time!

She is so fun right now. Everything is a game, and she is always learning something! It's so neat to watch.

Spring is Here!

Well, I can officially say that I love Minnesota early summer/late spring weather (side note: I love it when it's NOT RAINING!) Sheesh, lots of rain this year! 

We've decided to get the grill out and enjoy the weekend weather. Ramon grilled on his Weber, while Kaylee and I "played" in the grass. It was more like sitting in the grass, because once you put her in the grass she freezes up and won't move (unless you sit next to her then she crawls on top of you)

Dance Dance!

I finally got Kaylee's dance moves on video! I'm seriously not sure who she got her moves from lol

A few favorites... I love how she smacks herself in the face over and over haha. Poor Petrie almost gets squished... then Kaylee goes back to dancing away, as if nothing happened!

Don't Go Daddy!

Kaylee woke up early this morning for some reason... so she was awake when Ramon was going off to work. Poor thing, she was being so sweet and snuggle-y, and didn't want him to go!

As so as he went to work, she passed out again lol

Kaylee's Amish Buggie

Well, our bikes came in! YAY!! Now on for our first ride :)

Fresh Outdoors

I have a feeling we will be taking lots of pictures on the day this summer. Every morning when Petrie goes outside, Kaylee is following right behind.... she is just so happy out there :)

 I think Petrie is happy outside too :)

Seriously... she cruises on everything! It won't be long until she lets go :(

Sick Baby

Poor little Kaylee was sick for a couple of days. After two days of diarrhea and vomiting, we went to the dr... and guess what, she has a "virus". Basically meaning, they can't help her with meds, so we get to wait it out lol. Doctor said lots of snuggles :)

So... snuggling we did! We spent the rest of the day lounging around.

Poor thing didn't feel good

(ps-ignore my face haha. I figured I would be less scary if my eyes were closed... guess not!)

Petrie did her part to help make Kaylee giggle and forget about not feeling so hot.

Luckily, snuggles and giggles were the right medicine... or maybe Mom just took the virus away (since I woke up with it the next morning!) Ha oops :)

Today is.... hot, hot, hot!

Well.... it depends on what you think is hot. For this Texas gal, 88 degrees (it got up to 92 though) is so NOT hot! But I will admit.... when it's been well below freezing for more days than you can count, and not even a month ago, it snowed (twice).... I can see how 88 degrees feels hot. 

But oh my gosh.... IT WAS SO AMAZING!!! lol.... We got to wear flip flops, and shorts, and tank tops, and walk around naked! Wait, what?! haha... kidding kidding... I was just trying to see if you're paying attention :)

But seriously though. LOOK! SHORTS!

The funniest part of my day though? As soon as I pull out of the garage, THIS is what happened to my windows. They fogged up!

Normally, my windows fog in the winter when my inside is warm, and outside is cold (or so I thought)

Kaylee and I spent a lot of the afternoon waiting for an oil change for my car. We thought it would be quick, but it sooo wasn't! We were there for over 2 hours. They didn't have AC! (WHAT?!) So we were definitely sticky and hot. You know how it is inside, no air, air trapped inside... ugh, stuffy.

Kaylee was a sport though. She got to show off for everyone at the dealership, and made a few phone calls while we waited.

That evening, we pulled out the jogging stroller, and headed down the hill to Danielle's softball game! Kaylee loved playing in the grass!

 Uh, excuse me... I need to take a call :)

Petrie got her Hair Did

It's about time Petrie got a little hair cut. Plus, her nails were crazy long.... so off to Petsmart we go! 

As soon as Kaylee saw her, she giggled a little. Not sure if it was out of excitement for seeing Petrie, or if she was laughing at Petrie's new haircut...

Or maybe it was the bows they gave her! haha
