She Loves Petrie...

But not 100% sure it is mutual! haha. Poor Petrie use to have the house all to herself ALL DAY. Now, she has me and Kaylee chasing her around everywhere!

Do Re Me Fa So La Te Do!

I'm thinking about entering her into American Idol, what do you think?!  hehe

It's Raining. It's Pouring...

The "old man" is snooooring! Seriously, she snores sometimes (or wait, maybe that's her Daddy!)
We've been getting lots of rain lately, and strangely enough, the nights it rains, Kaylee sleeps great!

I can't quite figure out her sleeping position anymore. It use to be face down/butt in air.
Now, we're all over the place!

I love sneaking in before hitting the hay to see what position she has maneuvered into.

Babies at the Zoo

We had a great outting with Rachel, Ari & Bayla on Monday! The baby farm animals were at the Minnesota Zoo, so it was the perfect day to go! It was a "warm" & sunny 60 degrees outside! HA! (no but seriously... it felt warm somehow! unless the wind was blowing!)

The girls excited for a fun day!

Yup, she IS just THAT cool! ha
(I need to find me some shades like that!)

We got to feed the baby-goat-things. Usually you can go in with them, but they were getting too big. There is always next years babies!

Uh oh... DONT EAT THE STROLLER!
(and yes Zac, we cleaned cleaned VERY well afterwards!)

Kaylee just watched in totally awe

The off to the aquarium part, of course!

aaaand we're OUT!

Thanks for a fun day, Rach! Again soon! :)

This is the Way We... Brush Our TEETH!

Now that Kaylee has two bottom teeth and two halfway top teeth, it's time to start-a brushin'!
For sure reason, I felt like this was one of those milestones similar to her first rice. It was pretty uneventful.... but I think I'm grateful for that!

She's not quite sure what I'm about to do to her
Is this the "Daddy please help me" face?

Alright, let's do this! "Not so bad!"
In fact, she was sucking on my finger... ha
 Some what relaxing!
Aahhhhh... and we all survived our first tooth brushing!

This Girl Loves Her Shoes

Why is it that Kaylee can have all the toys in the world... but only wants to play with her shoes? SHE LOVES SHOES! I'm sure they feel nice on her two top teeth that are coming in, but seriously kid.....

"No Mommy, don't take my shoe away. I love my shoe."
"Num num num..."
 "AAAHH!!! SHOES!!!"
She is definitely a girls girl :)

Hoppy Easter!

Easter Weekend was busy busy... but lots-o-fun! I can't wait for Kaylee to be able to enjoy it more next year... but she did pretty well!

Saturday was the Harmony Egg Hunt. Kaylee got one egg... BUT she did get to meet the Easter Bunny!
It was nap time, so she wasn't too sure she wanted a big white creepy rabbit holding her. But no tears!
Us too.... and yes, it was freaking COLD outside!
Really didn't do a lot for our cute/pre-planned Easter outfits!!!
Inside where it's warm, Kaylee decides to take a second look at the Easter Bunny creature...
Then comfy Easter PJ's :)

Easter Morning, we all went to church in our Sundays best. Which calls for dress #2 for Kaylee.
As y'all remember, "she" just couldn't decide what to wear. So after trying on a zillion dresses (and realizing they look TOTALLY different one, than online), we narrowed it down to two favorites. One for church, and one for the Easter Bunny! :)

She has this "pulling things out of a basket" thing DOWN!
Then ANOTHER outfit change :) Into something cute and comfy this time.
(oh, and matching her cousins!)

Then yet, ANOTHER Easter Egg Hunt (with the entire family at Uncle Chris house).
She really got into this one!... with Daddy's help!

Oh wait, unless it was the adults that had more fun! An innocent egg hunt turned into an all out war with the confetti eggs! (I was wondering why all the "grown ups" were SO into helping find the "good eggs"... NOW I KNOW THE SECRET!)

What are you wearing?!

This is totally random, but makes me giggle. My Mom was in town helping us unpack and we kept finding random things in boxes from her Texas Nursery, and decided to let her wear everything!

Poor thing. She will hate these one day! HA

Kaylee's New Friend

Kaylee made a couple of new little friends this weekend! Trinity & Emily Johnson came by the house to say hi. Trinity was a groomsman in our wedding, and Ramon's childhood BFF. Their two boys, Caden & Carson, came too and Kaylee was IN LOVE. The moment we sat her down next to Carson, she crawled on top of him with her mouth wide open. haha... She did so good. She was right in there with them and very curious about everything they were doing. It was cute watching them all sit around the bowl of baby Cheetos and share with eachother (or get the biggest handful they could).
Just for the record, Ramon has already sat Kaylee down for a father/daughter talk to make it clear that the Johnson boys are off limits. He said "like father like son" hehe.... just messing with you Trinity! The boys were great! We loved having y'all over!

WHAT?!

IT IS APRIL!!!! That is all I really have to say. What the heck is going on?! Snowed all day and night.... sigh. I really REALLY hope that Easter is pretty!

First Day at the Park

We enjoyed a warm Sunday afternoon as a family at the park! One of the parks is at the bottom of the hill from our new home, so took a walk! Kaylee LOVED it!
She wasn't so sure about the slide at first. But after seeing the other baby having fun on the other slide, she suddenly decided it wasn't so bad.

This was the expression we were getting in the beginning. Blank.
Then she started loving it (sorry it's sideways)

Okay, now on to the swing!! The swing was a hit from the beginning!

Next time, we won't go right before nap time. She kept resting her head lol

 But still so fun!

 WEE

Still not sure about the grass.... this one might take a little warming up to! ha
